DevTracer - What is Devtracer?

DevTracer is a fast and effective tool for collecting trace output. It can be used with many development platforms for Microsoft Windows, like Microsoft Visual Studio and Visual Basic 6. It can also be used with scripting languages like VBScript (Windows Scripting Host), and with web applications (ASP, ASP.NET)

Why Devtracer?

Applications using DevTracer do not depend on DevTracer, i.e. they will still run on machines without DevTracer (or part of it) installed.
Monitor several applications simultaneously. For example: if you develop an ASP.NET application and a Web Service consumed by the ASP.NET application, both can be monitored at the same time.
Who can use DevTracer?
Basically every software developer writing software for Microsoft Windows can use DevTracer. It does not depend on how you develop your software. It can be used with all development tools targeting the Microsoft .NET platform, and with all tools that support COM (Component Object Model).

DevTracer is also a great tool for testers. Whenever they find a bug, they can use DevTracer to create some trace information. This information they can send to the developer along with the bug report, helping the developer to find the cause of the bug.

This license agreement is a legal agreement between you, either an individual or a single entity, and NRSoftware Norbert Ruessmann (NRS) for the software product DevTracer (the PRODUCT), which includes the software and documentation.

By using the PRODUCT, you agree to be bound to the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree, you must destroy all copies of the PRODUCT.

License

DevTracer is protected by copyright laws and international treaties, as well as other property laws and treaties. The software is licensed, not sold.

Grant of License

NRSoftware Norbert Ruessmann (NRS) hereby gives you a non-exclusive license to use the PRODUCT.

For evaluation a time-limited license is granted for 30 days.

Each individual using the software, or parts of it, must have a license. An individual may use the software on more than one computer.

You may make backup copies of PRODUCT.

You may not:

- permit other individuals to use the PRODUCT;

- modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble the PRODUCT (except to the extent applicable laws specifically prohibit such restriction)

- create derivative works based on the PRODUCT;

- copy the Software (except as specified above);

- rent, lease, transfer or otherwise transfer rights to the PRODUCT;

- remove any proprietary notices or labels on the PRODUCT

TERMINATION

The license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with the limitations described above. On termination, you must destroy all copies of the Software and Documentation.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

The PRODUCT is provided on an AS IS basis, without warranty of any kind, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the Software is borne by you.

Should the Software prove defective, you and not NRS assume the entire cost of any service and repair.

NRS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE, COMPUTER FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, OR ANY AND ALL OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES.

Title, ownership rights and intellectual property rights in and to the Software shall remain in NRS. The Software is protected by international copyright treaties.
